Our History

Believers of the common faith began to have fellowship in Highbury, North London, England in 1970. And there the Church of the Living God was birthed. In times of worship on Sundays, mid-week prayer meetings and Bible studies the brethren experienced God's presence as they worshipped Him in spirit and in truth.

Pastor L Chambers and Pastor JC Alexander were ordained evangelists and later on were ordained Pastors.
 

As this ministry grew, Pastor Alexander started a ministry in South London (The Church of the Living God of the Apostolic Faith) and through evangelism, souls were added to the church by God's grace.

In recent years, both assemblies have joined and now meet in North London.
 

By the preaching and teaching of God's holy word, the Lord has moved by his Holy Spirit to save, heal and deliver many who sought him.

All are welcome to come and worship with us, and hear the Word of God that will help to know of his mercy and come to a full knowledge of Jesus Christ, and his love. 'For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.' Titus 2:11 KJV.
